I've been practicing with some of the other characters in my own time but I keep avoiding SpongeBob himself, because he's way harder to draw than it looks. So I really cracked down and tried to draw him in my own style.The bottom right one is the closest I can get to fully embracing my own look - mainly with the way I drew the eyes. I'm pretty happy with these, surprisingly!Β

actually! the sailor hat was inspired by like, a 10-second clip of young SpongeBob from some random episode ;0; it was too cute so I had to draw it!! :'D
