Description Jilguero | Black-chinned Siskin
Carduelis barbata ♂

ENG: I was on La Pintana square with some university mates doing campaign... and I found a Black-chinned Siskin's flock on these trees (I don't know its name). The were having fun while eating. They stand even on the fruits to get seeds, flutter and they stand even head-down.

hehehe, maybe..
It was curious to see it this way, I see how house sparrows eat from the same fruit and they don't stand head down.

It's always great to read commentaries, thanks ;D

What a lovely little guy! I was curious to know what he was as I was guessing oriole when I saw the thumbnail. I was surprised to find it was a siskin! We only have the Pine Siskin here in the U.S. , so it's cool to see one on another continent.

Yeah, it's curious to see its position, hehe.
I like to see it as eating the sun on the blue sky

it's great, when I watch another country's birds there are many that are like "counterparts" of my national birds (maybe a pre-distribution many years ago and differentiation..)

Thanks for passing here ;D

Oh, that is a cool way to see it! That's some potential art subject right there! I do know there are some pieces of lore of dragons wanting to sun and devouring it or some oddness.

Yeah, but this siskin is incredibly colorful. It's nice to see considering out counterpart only has hunts of yellow. It's still very cool to see them in their natural habitat!
