Dema: I HATE Shadow Man. Want to know the reason why? Well let me just give you a list of those reasons:1. He's my weakness, and if I ever get contact with him my core will begin to corrupt since his metal is poison to me.
2. His attitude towards me
3. He has hurt my friends in the past

Dema: I'm no ninja. The reason I became one was because him, and I fused once. I have no similarities between him what's o ever. Were completely different.

Don't worry this long comment is not gonna offend you in any way, I just want to tell you how Shadowman should've been portrayed.
The reason why Shadowman was hated by some, is because the megaman team didn't do much with him. Even when they did, they made him into a selfish, typical evil ninja who has zero doubts about his powers.
With the media ( like IGn ) portraying him as "just a ninja" is bad also. being "just a ninja" doesn't make him cool. here's a question; Why is he a ninja? Why is he so skilled? Why is he so damn serious?
I loved the backstory Archie comics gave him, but since I hate Ian Flyn for killing the robot masters, there's no doubt in my mind he would portray Shadowman as an evil Kuiperdroid when the Stardroids come back and then...probably kill Shadowman because ninja's can't do anything else other than fight.
Geez.
In my version, Shadowman has much more character, but doesn't go too far with his emotions. When the Stardroids ( in my version ) eventually arrive, he is left with a tough desicion. Join them, or fight them.
He eventually fights Terra but gets hurt really badly, but his brothers from MM3 save him and defeat Terra. But when the Stardroids are eventually destroyed, the aftermatch is something else.
Weeks after they clean up the shit, Shadowman is still covered in cracks and scars. His power is even lower because of the damage and they don't have any material to heal him since his material isn't from earth. He can't even walk because on of his legs is broken.
Plantman offers him a month of theraphy in Portugal where he recovers from the trauma. Shadowman is pretty scared and worried after all this happend. They did make a special oil to heal his body. Something like Echinaforce, only instead of healing your immune system, it literally heals his wounds. But that isn't enough, Plant sais. Shadowman needs to recover from these wounds by believing in himself again. The power of the mind is a strong one and shows him all the wonders of planet earth. Making him grow a nice flower to show that growth and healing takes a while, but in the end, it's all worth it.
Then he gets the Shadowman tollders, plays the violin and becomes a secret spy to solve very tough cases.
So there. Maybe you don't like the Shadowman that has been portrayed in the past, but perhaps you'll like my version of him.

Seeing this version of Shadowman does bring more character into him, and in my personal opinion it is WAY better than in the Archie comics. I guess i'm still stuck with the past I guess. -_-"
I'm beginning to like this version of him since it does show more of his personality and also his obvious good side that I kept avoiding for no reason, and I feel stupid for that. Not only that I on purpose implemented the hatred between my character Dema and Shadowman which I now hate myself for that. I guess I should start over somehow, start fresh, and make my character like him...okay not that far but you get the idea.
Thanks Zav. This has absolutetly made me reflect that one can't always stay in the past, and look into the future. Also, hope this is not too sudden, and I know it might not work but it would be worth a try but, I LOVE your stories that you make, and it would be an honor if you implemented my character Dema in it. You don't have to if you don't want to just asking. ^_^"
