You have to give it credit though. It WAS made in the late 70s.They couldn't do as good and fluent animation as we have today.

I don't know, Disney did some surprisingly fluid animation way back in the thirties.

I never liked Mermaids becoming human or vice versa...
I always found it more interesting for them stay like they are yet somehow getting a relationship with each other ^^
