I was inspired to make these GIFs thanks to my Friend sending me a link to this Adaptation of The Little Mermaid long ago, and I realized that there was some GIF Potential in this I thought would be nice to look into. After Toei's Success with Mahou no Mako-Chan, other Anime Studios wanted a piece of that Adaptation Pie, including Mushi Studio, a company known for assisting Rankin-Bass with some of their works, which you can tell by the Designs of the Characters. This was part of an Anthology Series where they adapt Other Fairy Tales into an animated Format. And Three Episodes were based on The Little Mermaid, starring the voice actress of Sally The Witch herself as The Title Character, and that's what we're seeing here in GIF Form. Despite the More Cartoony Designs, it's still an adaptation of the original story, Tragic Ending and All, so note that while it has a cute art style and notably more silly looking character designs in some places, it's still The Original Little Mermaid Story through and through. But of course, our Heroine seemed like fun to make some GIFs out of in terms of meeting the Sea Witch and Drinking a Potion to turn her human that is painful for her. And now, hopefully you enjoy this batch.

And the feeling of strain was very strong to the point where she passes out on the Clamshell.
