What if Ariel made friends with O.J. of the Star Tugs?My guess is the old paddle Tug would share his wisdom and the little Mermaid would talk about her life beneath the waves.

I'm guessing Ariel went on a trip around the globe and ended up in Bigg City Port. Since she didn't know her way around, she found O.J. in the estuary as he went home after escorting a freighter out to Sea, now he was helping Ariel as a guide and teaching her a lifetime of Man's world.
