so how do you make clothes for daz and poser???

You model, you UVmap, you group, you rig, you morph, you texture, usually in that order. The process itself isn't difficult but has quite a few steps, so I'm afraid I won't go into detail here, but there are several tutorials available online about it. I can recommend Secrets of Figure Creation for Poser 5 for more details about rigging. I use C4D for modelling/grouping/UVmapping/morphing and some texturing, Studio's rigging tools for the rigging, Zbrush sometimes for finer displacement detail, and PoserFileEditor and Textpad for doing the boring editing, loading morphs, etc.

Yeah, I can see the reasoning behind buying/not buying, and I use pretty much the same for my own purchases. I have to say, I DO prefer M4 to any of the previous guys, except Hiro3 which is awesome and just lovely. LOL

Thank you! A lot of thought and work went into that outfit to try and make it as versatile as possible, and to have things like proper shoulders. Glad it shows!
