This is a trot cycle because the legs are moving in diagonal pairs. A legitimate walk is very hard to master though so don't worry ;u;
Besides that, the movement in this is really great! I love the flop of the ears and whiskers!

Does that still apply to non equines? :0 of course I was just referencing a gif of a tiger playing with a zoo keeper so it wasn't explicitly labeled as a walk or trot

Yep, all quadrupedal mammals have the same 4 gaits (Walk, trot, canter, gallop), meaning their legs follow the same pattern, though they all look different because of differences in weight distribution/ratios and joint structures.

(Certain breeds also have specialized gaits, though I'm like 99.999% sure its just a horse thing [Paso Fino and Icelandic Tolts are good examples of this].

www.youtube.com/watch?v=INQx-L… <-- Is a video I reference frequently (Skip to 2:14. It's talking mainly about the motion of the hips but it also shows the leg pattern)
www.youtube.com/watch?v=zrqOAw… <-- To prove the pattern is the same in canines and that I'm not a crazy equestrian
(If you've ever heard about "tracking up" in riding, it's a good tip that helps me remember the relationship between the hind legs and the front legs in the walk)

I know this would be asking a lot, but since I tend to confuse the language and the actual walk cycles themselves, would you mind making some sort of visual tutorial or graphic about the timing of all the legs? (,: I feel like I have a hard time seeing the difference in live action videos but maybe it's just me not being observant enough

Do you mean just the walk or the differences between walk/trot/canter/gallop?
(I could probably find references that are better than what I could make but yeah sure ;u; )
