I haven't posted for a while due to a few reasons. Mainly, I'm in a pretty high workload major and don't have the time/interest to work on paintings in my limited free time, but I've also been working on and off on some other writing projects and personal doodles that never made it to DeviantArt. In any case, a little painting of Peril I did a few weeks ago! The title is a reference to "The Man I Used to Be" from the Count of Monte Cristo musical, which inspired the painting of Peril finally flying off into the sunset, content in her future.

I tried out some new brushes with the clouds and some new lighting techniques here and am pleased with how it all turned out! This painting is the Fall 2020 sidebar image for the Wings of Fire Amino, if anyone else here is also active over there.
