Alright I kinda suspect that you are annoyed with the fights over "pokemon rocks!" "or "digimon rocks!". I think that if this were to be made into a real game, they would have to be equal in strength in order for the player to be able to win with a certain character. (for example, pikachu) But if were getting technical here, the digimon live in their own universe, essentially being the "people" of that dimension. (building cities and such) Pokemon on the other hand are the equivilent of animals in our own universe. They belong to people and accompany them througout thier lives. I'm a fan of pokemon, but I think i'm being fair when i say that doing this would be like putting interdimensional beings up against dogs and cats.

So what I want to know is: which series is truly better? PokΓ©mon debuted first, but both were concieved at around the same time. This caused a lot of legal problems.
PokΓ©mon evolutions have more logical progression, whereas Digimon "Digivolutions" tend to not make any sense. (Seriously, how the ** does little bat wing-eared Patamon change into a six-foot-tall angel wearing a helmet that covers his eyes that can beat the living ** out of the gigantic Diablomon?) PokΓ©mon have a maximum three evolutionary stages, and none exceed being 47 feet in height/length (that's Wailord, BTW). Digimon, on the other hand, have a maximum SIX "Digivolutionary" stages, and can grow to exceedingly massive sizes, dwarfing previous forms in an instant. (For instance, when Greymon Digivolves into Metal Greymon, he grows five times his height as Greymon, and Greymon is five times the size of Agumon.)
As for naming, all Digimon species names end in -mon. And some have additional words at the beginning, such as "Metal Greymon." PokΓ©mon is more creative, and names typically follow patterns and are single words. (The exceptions to this rule are Mr. Mime and Mime Jr.)
However, both universes have different rules, so some rules may conflict with those of the other series. Those rules include type-matchups, elements, size differences, and the aspect of Digivolution, which might be only temporary and can happen at any given time AND works backwards as well as forwards. PokΓ©mon evolution is a one-way street.
There are 649 species of PokΓ©mon, divided into five generations. There are over ten seasons of the anime, which feature at least one recurring character throughout the entire show (i.e. Ash Ketchum). On the other hand, there are about 882 species of Digimon. There are some five seasons of anime, only two of which feature recurring characters. Each season of the anime has a movie to accompany that generation's legendary PokΓ©mon, but the same cannot be said for Digimon.
Then there's the aesthetic aspect. Most PokΓ©mon have smoother outlines, and have rubberier appearances, whereas Digimon have more random outlines and more threatening appearances. No PokΓ©mon wear clothes (save for Jynx, who happens to be the topic of a particular controversy), and do not carry weapons. Many Digimon DO have some sort of clothing or other artificial item on their bodies (i.e. wrappings, helmets, armor, etc.), and some carry weapons (i.e., Emperor Greymon carried a sword in Digimon Frontier).
In their respective universes, PokΓ©mon are known worldwide. Digimon live within the Digital Realm and are thus unknown to the world at large. And there are more PokΓ©mon Trainers than Digi-Destined.
So answer me this: Why the ** would these particular characters be fighting in the first place? Wouldn't they team up and fight evil? I just think that you're all going the wrong direction. And besides, we all know that Pikachu pwns all. (This is a really long review, ain't it?)

well theres a reason why digimon digivolution is so damn random. Theyre are monsters made up of data, data (like in real life) can form anything even if it has nothing to do with it before. Although alot of times its true. Nasically what im saying is they aren't all supposed to be based off a certain animal they mostly have deeper meaning in their name. Most are based of bibical &/or mythical beings.

I have, in fact, seen the anime. BUT! it was a rather long time ago.
At the time I wrote this comment, which was some time ago, I must have remembered MetalGreymon becoming ridiculously huge (I said FIVE times, not 50). I have a mental image of him towering over city buildings. Of course, I'm probably wrong about that, so forgive my errors in that respect.
My comment about Pikachu is merely my own opinion; really, I meant it in a more joking manner. I respect your opinions (not much), but you're being very rude about it.
