Normal: Anaïs is a shy girl that loves her family and is a big animal friend. So much that she takes care of stray cats that often visits. Anaïs is people shy but is very confident around animals. She is also a very good judge of character and often have a second sense whenever something is wrong, however can’t voice it when it comes to humans. Anaïs is a very musical girl and is an excellent violinist so much that she actually preforms for smaller venues. She often practice down by the docks. She often attracts animals with her music or song. She is a bit of a pushover and lacks self-confidence, but will do what she sees as necessary.

Vesper: As vesper she is a very talented and fast thinking flyer and strategist. She is also limited to when she can be out, unlike other personas Vesper can only come out at night since her sensitivity would more or less make her blind if she where to fight during the day. Vesper is often silent because of her ‘One command’ ability. Fearing that it would activate when she do not want it to, it also causes many people to distrust Vesper at times judging her as a villain or thief rather than a Hero. She takes the akumatized objects and in a way takes the power source of the villain, but can’t purify the object, but after a few days Hawkmoths hold lessens. She does have a role more similar to “Robin Hood” rather than the stereotypical ‘good guy’ superhero.

Biography: Anaïs was born in south east France as the daughter of Abel & Claudine Lavoie. She lived a very happy and ordinary life. But when she was about 6 years old Abel and Claudine passed away in a car accident. Shortly before the accident she had gotten a pendent that belonged to her mother. Anais went into chock that she remembers little about what happened the week before and after her parents died. She just have a feeling that something was wrong before her parent’s accident. She now lives with her godparents Ramon and Sonia Mercier who were friends of her parents and their adopted children Killian and Ornella.

Anaïs lives happily with her family and moved to Paris to further their business. It was sometime after her turning 15 that Pip became activated and she was chosen as the Bat Miraculous holder. Since the Bat Miraculous had belonged to her mother and perhaps even grandparents Anaïs wonder if Pip could help her uncover what might have lead up to her parents death, because something in her is certain it was more than a freak accident.

Hero name: Vesper

Reason for title: She is the holder of the Bat Miraculous. That means she can only come out at night since her kwami is a nocturnal animal and so her persona. ‘Vesper’ is latin for ‘evening’ and a common subspecies of bats are known as ‘Vesper bats’ or ‘Evening bats’.

Miraculous jewellery: bat pendent

Kwami: Pippin “Pip”

Pippin is a very helpful and clever kwami. But does carry a high opinion of himself. Often considering himself a ‘lover of finer things’. He therefor come off as a bit of a snob and a bit arrogant. He is very confident and often lends that confidence to his holders. Pip is also very honest and has at times been forced to give his holders a reality check when they have gone off the deep end or bout their abilities. Pip is in reality not that difficult to deal with and his attitude is often a way for him to drive out more confrontational reactions from his holders.

Abilities

Most Vesper holders are very flexible and light making them more focused on precision and speed rather than force.

Flight: Vesper has the ability to fly or glide for short amount of time. This is especially good when capturing flying akumas.

Heightened senses: Not only are Vespers eyes sharper than ordinary humans so are her ears.

One command: this is Vespers most powerful ability. It makes it possible to have one person do whatever Vesper says. The drawback with this however is that if the target doesn’t hear the command or it affects someone unintentionally it can’t be reversed. It is also an ability that takes a lot of energy and once performed the Miraculous holder have a few minutes before they transform back.

Weapons

Wings: the bat miraculous holder has the ability to fly using them.

Former holders

Gaspard Royer: Pips’ former holder. A soldier during the early 20th century. Pip holds Gaspard in high regard and consider him a very honest and kind man, as well as a very talented ‘Vesper’. Gaspard used his miraculous abilities especially in recon or for stealing and sabotage. Often trying to turn the tides without getting people hurt or killed. Gaspard was also very well liked and respected by his comrades because of his fast thinking and abilities to think several steps ahead he could get them out of difficult situations. But for some reason one day Pip went into the miraculous and couldn’t come out. The next thing he knows is that he has a new Miraculous holder and that close to a century has passed.

This is an OC based on the Miraculous Ladybug series.

The character was originaly created for a contest that holds, but i grew to like the idea of Vesper/Anaïs and Pip.
