Proof that I am not dead yet.

I managed to finish this while watching South Africa vs Mexico. (I'm talking about the World Cup)

I totally enjoyed doing this. The shadows - especially Janus' robes - turned out better than I expected! But I don't like how Magus' hair turned out though - ah, I need more practice in drawing flowing long hair (was reminded of how Trunks' hair ended up like in a past work).

Anyway, I'll just copy and paste what I said at Magus Fanwork - TEASER .

This is Magus. Hear me? Magus. The kid is him when he was young. Back then, he was known as Janus. And he had a cat, Alfador, a loving sister, Schala - and a bitch of a mom known as Queen Zeal, who had been corrupted by the power of Lavos. Shame.

During the wake of Lavos (as summoned by Queen Zeal) he was inadvertently thrown into a time gate and into 600 AD, where he bumped into Ozzie and a group of Blue Imps. Seeing that these Mystics have never seen a human work magic, Ozzie decided to raise and groom him into becoming the FiendLord (blissfully unaware that he was only being used because Magus had other plans).

Now, those familiar with Magus fan art would probably be reading this for the hundredth, maybe the thousandth time. But I'm going to state why Magus is awesome, and will break the reasons into a list:

1. He has the best magic attacks in the game (besides Crono's Luminaire). I really loved using Dark Mist and Dark Matter. And the secret triple techs.

2. Trying to figure him out is an enigma, and as you would understand, I just like enigmatic guys. Or, as *yapi stated in her Chrono Trigger meme , "I just love guys with issues." ;3

3. He almost resembles....uh, ah.....Piccolo! If Piccolo had greyish skin. And blue hair. And red eyes...oh well, maybe his personality is similar to Piccolo's.

Anyway, enjoy Magus. In all his icy glory! And the cuteness of Janus. Sorry I didn't add in Alfador there (I can't draw cats for toffee).

Actually, I should post this in ~SynVegeta . But..meh. I guess I can make room for CT fan works here.
