Screw what my Creative Writing class said, Squids fly and I like the poem how it is.
Soooooooooooooo...
This is the picture that would never die. I thought I wouldn't finish it, but I finally did. The main reason felt I couldn't finish because it was only intended to be a short picture with flat colors.
But it came to be way more than I thought it would. I drew the initial sketch on notebook paper to represent my feeling of sadness and humiliation when a guy I really adored but he didn't feel the same.
As the picture became more elaborate over the last month, it turned into something else. For me, it isn't my sorrow. It's my happiness. For me, the heart doesn't spread apart any more.
It comes together.
