Where there's a witch, there's a way! <<< This quote was taken from my favorite magazine The Pyramid Collection. I just thought it was so cute that I had to make something out of it!
Want some history? Did you know that the pentacle (five pointed star enclosed by a circle) was originally the ultimate form of protection? It was the Catholic church and a collection of other religous organizations that molded this fine symbol into the emblem of devil worship and witch-craft. If you're looking for devil-worship, simply take this pentacle and flip it upside down! Now /that/ is the symbol of the Satanic Church.

Though, the upside- down pentacle was stolen by the satanists...
Actually it originates as far back as the old pagans, druids and well, life-symbolism.
the reason religious stuff made it connected with satanism, was simply because anyone not worshiping "the true god" was considered to have been converted by Satan.
And later on, the satanists took this symbol as their own.
