Bah...yeah, I've been a bit on the dead side with DA, but I'm still here, just tired and trying to beat Jak and Daxter....stupid water level keeps killing me.
This mutant Lupe was drawn with a purpose, but, uh, he lost the point during the time I was coloring this piccie. Yeah...
So...this pic became another practice image for trying out this new coloring style. I still need to know this "Light source" thingie people speak off...mine seems everywhere.
Now I need a new goal on Neopets...that stupid plot on there is messing my plans up. Site's annoying me again, so I might have to break from it.

Ee hee, lightsource is always hard. You could always do like me and bullshit your way through it though.

I'm digging the colors on this, and the design is great too. Looks like a siberian tiger in the forehead.

Nice, I like the evil look of him, in fact, the pose is really fitting and makes him looking sadistic, somehow, especially with yellow eyes and red pupils ^.^ the shading is well done, his left hind leg should probably be a little darker since the body casts its shadow on it. the pattern on his fur looks cute .. hehe .. he even has spikes on his back, as far as i can see .. i definitely don't want to be the one he's looking at -.-

Been on Neo for 3 years now, but I'm starting to grow bored of it. my pet has 451 HP and weak weapons.
I forgot the level's title but you ride down a slope and when you grab the orb the room fills with Dark eco and you have to run up a series of platforms...I keep dying right there.

Very nice expression, and for some reason I love the coloring on the tail.
The skull head covering thigy seems to be just a different fur color on the side there, though. *point* Might want to fix that, unless twas on purpose.

I was just going by the neopets drawing, so I don't think that skull is real...just fur in a pattern.

o0o0 I remember Lupe from Neopets...I thought he was a cool critter...and this is a great rendition of him you did! Very nice angle and posture...the shadows are well done...and about the lighting source..hmmmm...its almost like putting in shadows...concentrate on one area that would make a shine...just like you concentrate on one area to make a shadow...hmmmm this might be to vague...but I hope it helps...or just look at other peoples work to understand that concept! overall...this is a great piece!!! - Randerzoid :3

Yes, your light sourcing is indeed a bit off. The idea is to keep the shadows on the same general side of the object; it's just a matter of visualizing your drawing in 3D or something. Other than that, I'd say the shading is well done. I like the color scheme and design of this creature; very nice rendition despite me not knowing anything about Neopets.

Ahh...I'm trying to do that and hopefully I can get it right next time...I dunno why I wanna shade so much. Gonna focus on one light source instead on a hyper firefly.
