Like invading Russia in the winter?
Although Germany did also try to do that. And failed...

I don't get why people always say that Germany "invaded Russsia in the winter" when Operation Barbarossa started in June 1941.

I see what the Merkel republic is doing, breaking laws, ruining our country,
they are controlled by the lobbies, a democracy can be dangerous too,
when a bad political correct politician elite rules.

As a Spaniard I can confirm that the Spanish government under Rajoy had done nothing but drive us to Hell in these last 4 years, until the elections of the 20 December :C. At least Germany has a strong economy (leading economy in Europe... right?).

That´s right and I am sorry that Spain has such a situation, especially the
young people really need good jobs and I hope they fix it asap!
Well yes Germany has a good economy, but that means the millions of
muslims all want to come to us, which is bad again, if you heard what happened
in Cologne, Hamburg, Berlin actually everywhere now...even in my town.

I also wished there is no war and all have a good life.
And it´s not meant racist, but more and more fear that if hundred thousands
come every year, Islam will become too strong and the native people too weak.
That´s why people all over Europe start voting rightpolitical partys.

I know, and I understand if people don't like Muslims, specially after what happened in Paris, Berlin, Munich and Cologne.
It also happened in Madrid, back in 2004 (Atocha bombing). But I bet anything ISIS is behing the attacks in Germany. I mean, weren't they behing the attacks in Paris?
*sigh* It's true, when someone starts a war, it's impossible not to kill innocent civilians. :C

The best way to help them is to change their countries so that they don´t need
to come to Europe at all.

Napoleon and France with him pulled off a a repeat of the history of ancient Rome from the Republic to Empire, in a very short time period. Napoleon was the most successful emulator of the ancient Roman leaders Julius Caesar and Augustus but with his narcissistic grandiosity he couldn't contain himself from taking on Russia.
He didn't lead his forces well in harsh climates, he covered up the travesty of his Egyptian campaign with propaganda of success when in fact his soldiers were pressed to keep walking through the hot desert without sufficient resources like water to survive, many soldiers died from dehydration some preferring the option of a pistol to the head then complete dehydration. Russia was the opposite extreme.

When I talk about history with my comrades, they always look impressed when I say that "I think that, although the french were too abusive with the civilians (the spaniards acted savagely with the french and pro-french prisoners too), the Napoleon invasion was our best opportunity to grow up as a illustrated nation or as part of a greatest and fairest empire". Napoleon and his brother, José I, eliminated the Inquisition, introduced the revolutionary ideas, the centralism, and the idea of "citizenship" and citizen's rule (of course, being Napoleon, the "first between equals"). What came after the French rule?
Oppresive absolutism, the return of nobility, a treacherous king who betrayed first his own people running away from Spain and leaving his subjects unprotected, and later, liberals and absolutists who helped him. Cristos bless the Emperor!

I absolutely agree! Sometimes, I look back at that part of our history and I wonder until which point they (I wasn't born by then) were idiots. Prefering that absolutist, good for nothing Ferdinand VII over Jose I and Napoleon, who had illustrated, revolutionary ideas. I know, Napoleon was not a saint, but he was lots better than Ferdinand VII "The Desired".

No sé cuándo van a aprender.

Noone is perfect, Napoleon did awesome and awful things, he created ideas that made all
of Europe more modern, but he did also start many wars and killed many people for that.
But surely I admire him, rising from nothing to the greatest leader of his time.
But he did too much, he could get a huge empire, but he wanted more and more,
and so lost nearly everything at the end.
