I love the feeling of belonging, that feeling of acceptance and thinking you have the best friends in the world.You think that they will do anything for you and in turn you will do anything for them.
You feel that they laugh along with you even when you not funny
You brush aside their flaws and at times think they don't have any
I love the feeling of sharing an iside joke with each other and laugh till the next day
Fond memories are forged between you and your circle of friends
Then comes a point when you think the world is perfect, you think that you have been blessed by God with such freinds and you think it will last forever.
Then someone new comes and at first, you accept them.
You find them funny
You notice however, that everyone seems to like this person too
Then at first the new person and one of your friends share an inside joke that only they know
Then more of your friends begin to gravitate towards the new person
Of course there is always one person you are closer to than anyone else
You believe that peson will never desert you
They will never leave you
They will never desert you
But you realize they weren't happy with the same old
They lived fresh things, new things, new peaople
The next thing you know, they are all laughing and having a great time and then there's you
Sitting on the side lines, laughing along to something you don't find remotely funny just to make it seem like you are in on it too
You think that by laughing with them you can trick yourself into having fun
But you know deep down you're not
They you begin to quextion yourself
what are you supposed to do next?
Do you keep pretending?
Do you leave and attempt to replace them?
Who are you're friends really and where have they gone?
