I am not familiar with this view from either side of the Narrows Bridge.Β From the west side the of the bridge the mountain would be to the right of the bridge and nowhere near this size.Β From the east the mountain would be behind.Β This is a manip?

Well, no, this is not a manip. When you take WA 16 from Bremerton to Tacoma, Mount Rainier and the Cascades (that are East) are behind the bridge before you cross it, with the Olympic mountain range behind you. Then, if you take the bike and pedestrian path on the new bridge (far right on the picture), this is more or less the view that you have. Now, as far as the size of the mountain, first, let me say that Mount Rainier is Gigantic! And in addition, it is achieved with the use of a longer lens: I refer you to the "big sun effect" key word if you were to decide to inquire more on how to achieve this. Cheers!

I do not really know what to tell you here other than I cross the bridge everyday, and each time that the weather allows it, it is what I see. Maybe you need to come back to this beautiful area!

Yes, you are quite correct. Β I was mistakenly thinking of the I90 bridge across lake Washington, and I thought you were looking to the West! Β Great work!

Thank you very much. As for the pov, we are lucky that the pedestrian path goes all the way up a hill on both sides.

Very nice framing - the contrast between the massive bridge and the "small" mountain in the background. Love the light, makes everything a bit surreal, like its on another planet :-D
