Description
Marley had journeyed through Victory Road with the aid of Dawn, in search of Shaymin... only to come up empty-handed. It seemed the tiny gratitude Pokemon was not about to appear for her. Dejected, Marley ventured home...
But she did not give up. She returned on a different day, to discover Dawn by the white rock, and a mysterious path right next to it that she could've sworn wasn't there before. Marley hurried to catch up to her friend, and the two proceeded along the Seabreak Path together.
Neither Marley nor Dawn were the chatty sort, so they remained silent as they walked along. Dawn suddenly stopped, crouching to examine a particular flower. It was a strange one- a kind neither trainer had seen before. Dawn started to wonder if any special berries would sprout from it. She reached down to take a closer look...
Suddenly, a plume of spores erupted from the petals. The two trainers coughed and sneezed, battling the pollen cloud. Dawn was clearly rather embarassed from the ordeal, so was quick to continue down the path.
That was when she noticed something strange. The Seabreak Path seemed to be getting longer and longer. The two kept walking, but somehow covered little ground. When Dawn noticed the path getting wider, and the flowers getting taller, it suddenly clicked- they were both shrinking!
The shrinking girls quickened the pace, hurrying to get as far as they could before they shrank to bug-size. Long after they had finished shrinking, they finally reached the end of the path. There they found a paradise of flowers, and none other than the Shaymin they sought in the middle. Only, it was not the tiny Pokemon they expected. It was now much, much bigger than either of them!
Dawn got ready for battle. The Shaymin tilted its head curiously, not sure what to make of the tiny beings before it. Then it shuffled around, before settling down for a nap. Dawn and Marley were feeling a bit tired too, so they decided to rest a little. Apparently no threat to Shaymin, it did not mind as they leaned against its warm, soft body. In mere minutes, they both drifted off to sleep beside their new friend...
