Following on from Minis merge into puny Pneuma

The tiny Pyra, Mythra (and Pneuma) had no choice to accept their loss. Their shrinking failed to wear off after the battle, but their new friends told them this was to be expected, even inviting them to tea. Mythra accepted after some urging from Pyra, but she was far from happy about her humiliatingly small size.

Pyra, Mythra, Palutena and Bayonetta sat down in a cozy corner of a rather luxurious building, and tea was poured by the bigger women. The short-tempered Mythra was not on very good behavior however, constantly complaining and even running about atop the table, kicking teacups in protest. Before long, Palutena had enough and trapped her in a jar.

"Settle down, and maybe we'll let you out," she warned the tiny Aegis.

Pyra wasn't too keen on Mythra being trapped, however she decided to humor her new friends. Perhaps if she made nice with them, they would be pursuaded to let Mythra out. However, Pyra found herself getting on well with the two of them, almost forgetting about the puny Mythra's predicament.

"So, um... how long will I be small for?" Pyra asked.

"...hmm. You see, this is something of a tradition among the ladies of Smash," Bayonetta told her.

"You're staying small until another female fighter joins the battle," Palutena explained, "it's a little thing we've kept going for a while now."

"But... the last one was Sora," Pyra worried, "it doesn't seem like anyone will be joining anytime soon. Am I going to be stuck like this until the next Smash?"

"You think you've got it tough. Bayonetta here was small for years," Palutena revealed with a smile.

"Indeed I was. Not the proudest time of my life," Bayonetta sighed.

Pyra glanced to the miniaturized Mythra, still pounding on the glass. She wondered if she could hear their conversation, or if she was going to have to break the news to her that she would be tiny for quite some time...
