The Invasion has begun ..and you're running out of air(from a story/game concept by my friend Sergeant, that Im sorta helpin with. He asked for a few concept sketches, I went overboard. This is his otter character at the beginning of the story, that starts all the intense action. His whole world is about to be taken from him..)

I second FrostyPuppy, this is a very intense piece of work! There's an atmosphere of high-pace adrenalin-rush action, yet also the tension of waiting and hiding, all reflected in the colours and details.

thats exactly the knife-edge I was hopin would come across. Thanks for commenting. Its definitly a piece like alot of my stuff where I have to go back afterwards and pick apart what makes it work so well cuz it was entirely unintentional (Lots of people have liked this btw, Im thinkin of sellin prints with Sarge's permission :3 )

Um, fires on the surface, explosions from the alien ships blowing stuff up. The point of view is underwater looking up. It was hard to make it look realistic..

Out, the coloring sure is nice and sweet...but I'd hate to drown, in my eyes that's one of the worst way to end a life

oh no, he makes it, no worries. Like I said, the start of the story :3 He just happens to be underwater when the invasion starts, and so I wanted to catch that moment of fearful revelation that everything has just gone out of control
