Korny aside, this show does rock. And you did a good job. This looks like its after they get back the Castle of Lions; Lance looks a little worse for wear and everyone seems just happy to be there. But I suppose it could take place after any ol' time.

I love your fanart. I have to thank you. You've made me discover the greatest TV show remake ever.
This show has so many great characters. My favourite character from the show is definitely Lance. 1: He's hot. 2: He's a flirt. And 3: He has a great, likable personally. And he's voiced by Jeremy Shada. (Jeremy does Finn the Human. He's from Adventure Time.) The plot is amazing and the animation is just beautiful. I'm a huge fan of anime and I want to draw in a anime style. I really want to draw the characters as well, I need practice. Like seriously, I will practice more.

Shiro is my fav, but Lance is a super close second. He's such a
loveable character, and he's pretty cute.
I'm also happy that you want to practice. You look like
you really want to improve and that is super great to have when
wanting up your art skills!
Hmm. How i draw these characters? Well, guide lines and reference. a lot of reference.
But guide lines is something that i use to create the body shape of the character. Like
Lance has a very thin build but not lanky like Pidge. His chin is very narrow and he has a
very common head shape seen in cartoon characters. Using shapes like squares and ovals
is how i draw them. Then i add in the details like hair, eyes and clothing later.
And i can not stress enough do not be afraid to use reference when drawing. For some reason
there's like this myth that using reference is cheating and you're not making real art if you do, but this is
completely untrue and ridiculous. Like think of disney using models and actors as reference when drawing
ariel and auroa. Reference is very important.

find it here.
I actually discovered the show months before it came out. There was a promo
post on tumblr. I reblogged it, putting it in my 'for later' tag. and then about 2 days before
it aired, i decided to give it a watch to see if i would like it. I actually wasn't expecting to love
it as much as i did. and now it's all i wanna draw.
I use paint tool sai, photoshop and corel draw to draw my fanart.
I have a waccom intuos 5 tablet to use those programs. It's a large. but
if you're looking to get something cheaper, getting the small or the medium is best.
the only difference is the size and price, i use my teachers at school all the time and it works great
despite it's little size.
