Description
This is painting was a gift for my Aunt and her family of their cat Oscar. Oscar is now a senior cat, so they wanted to get his portrait done before he passes. I was very happy to paint him for them. It was very heart warming to watch them react to it as it made them a bit emotional - that made me feel acomplished and that I did my job well at capturing their cat's essence in this painting

Supplies: Turner Professional watercolours on Canson Moulin du Roy cold-pressed 140lb paper.
Colours: Indanthrene blue, Cobalt Turquois, Phthalo green blue shade, Quinacridone Sienna, plus some white gouache for the highlights. May 2018
