When I heard the news of a Resident Evil remake remaster I was so emotionally disturbed that it made me actually do a drawing!Β Thought I'd drop it here for the RE heads.So what do you all think, do you approve of Capcom remastering their remakes? Or should they just concentrate on another sequel in the original control scheme perhaps?

To me, it's not about better graphics or additional content. It's about opportunity. Realistically speaking, most people don't have a Gamecube these days. Mine is long gone. This remaster means that people who don't have the Gamecube can finally play this masterpiece again, and that's all that really matters.Β

Very true, also it's being delivered in a much more digestible format for our modern tastes,
HD graphics and using our favourite next/current gen consoles + controllers.
You have to be quite the committed fan to bear with the Gamecube version these days (like me!).

I think it's something good, if they don't know how to follow from RE6, then they should do this kind of stuff with the first games, also, new remakes would be good. I'd kill for remakes or RE2 and 3! xD

So yes I would love to see a RE2 or 3 remake too, I think that's on the top want list for most fans.
It would be great if the could do them in the REmake style with extra stuff added (like they did with the Lisa Trevor thingy) plus all in HD 1080p, 60fps etc etc. And a more streamlined analog controls, maybe even allow us to choose between old school and over-the-shoulder style (they did this in the RE5 Spencer Estate mission).

Yup, the characters looks just great on the remake, and yeah, I agree. My brother specially loves the old school camera style xD (he also loved what they did on RE5 in that scenario)

Well, I don't mind..! If they keep Chris looking like a steroid filled hunk in emotional turmoil, like on RE6, I'm fine :->
But seriously though, if the improvements are great as far as portraying emotions and graphics go, then I do welcome it! Though I would like another new game, if they have something in mind anyway.
Though, if they're not releasing any on PS3, that would kinda really suck for me! (That is until I get a PS4...well, if I ever get to the point of being able to afford it anyway) :'-) Wait, did they say what console they'd be releasing the game/s on?

I'm pretty sure the remaster remake will be available on all consoles except nintendo, which is ironic seeing as it was made for them originally. Save up for your ps4, it's a future investment!
