Drawn to nexus points which link the Astral Plane with the human mind, these creatures are highly territorial and will not hesitate to lock horns with other Striders in displays of dominance or spread clouds of acrid spores which can ward off even the fiercest terrors which seek to invade the human mind."

Here's another creature concept I did for the weekly contests over at Conceptart.org. Done entirely in photoshop with textures coming from photos I took of stuff in my house.
