This is very ethereal with the bird in the immediate foreground flying low with exceptional clarity, instant

Thanks--it is definitely the light through the tailfeathers that makes this one for me. But it was work to get it as I spent quite a long time photographing these birds. Really makes me appreciate those amazing photos of birds on the wing that some people get!

This has such wonderful framinging and to capture all of those tones in a white bird is amazing, stunning.

that is awesome...the duck don't look real happy...lol. Is that the tail fin of a goldfish too? The bottom feathers spread out like that reminds me of an angel!!!!! It also has a nice depth of field in such a short space!

The duck is just concentrating on getting his bit of bread with all the commotion going on. What you can't see is that in front of the duck is the swan--they hurt when they bite! No, that bit of orange is not a goldfish but most likely a duck's foot--this shot was taken by a boat ramp in Nyon, on Lake Geneva and there aren't any goldfish in this lake, just perch and fera for the most part. Thanks for the compliment on the depth of field--I was trying and trying to get a bird in flight but they were really swooping and diving erratically so I was lucky to get anything at all!
