Description Full view reveals nice pixel hatch
I've been toying with this concept for some time now...
One of my friends saw a few sketches and told his friend about it and... it ended up as a might-be-a-deal for a poster.
And it stayed on that "might" for some time, and cuz they thought I've allready finished it, they called me yesterday to close the deal
I had to finish it by today, so I've chosen a minimalistic approach
It came out pretty well, but it is far from the original idea... which I tend to realize... and I will... in a month(/year) or two

The cartoony grimaces here, somewhat melt the gloomy motive, but that bipolarity adds a strange feel to it...

Thanks... but I think that the full view makes it more of a cartoony poster than the surreal piece
...which btw wasn't my original intent...

This is awesome. I've read a short story about the many masks people wear to cover up their true identity. This is an awesome illustration of such an abstract idea. Very awesome. BTW--Photoshop or Illustrator?

You don't have to read stories to see that... Look around you...
People are weird creatures - complicating their lives, knitting their own drama's so that they could pitty on themselves...
Pleasing one and lying others, wearing different masks for different people, different situtations...
And though some, ARE trying to cover up their identities, so they could play their little games, I believe that their identity fades, and at the end, disappears completely in that filty fog of illusion they build around themselves...
Not knowing who they are, really...
I wanna do another piece with the same subject, a bit darker then this version, cuz this one delievers the thought, as I've deduced from your reply, but probably doesn't invoke the right emotion in the beholder...
