I would first like to thank for the most amazing reference picture. [link] Thank you so much for letting me use your picture! Your little sister is so cute.I must admit to not spending as much time on this drawing as I have in the passed, but I do like the way it turned out. But I also like the reference picture I used better, so please check out her gallery ^^
I also used some of Zindy's amazing drawing tutorials. [link] I am really in awe of her work so if you have never checked out her site before, I recommend you do
I drew this as an experiment to try to get the hang of drawing with charcoal. Ummm... I couldn't get the lighter shades smooth using the charcoal alone so I used my 2H and HB graphite pencils as well. It is draw in my 11" x 8.5" sketch book
Update 11/11/11 - Got a new scanner and rescanned the drawing so now it looks a lot better!

hmmmm... do you have any favorite movies or singers that you haven't drawn? Or maybe a self portrait? Idk. I'm thinking about either drawing a picture of Carrie Underwood or running some of my dvds in my computer so I can take still frames of characters to draw. I'm not sure if that helps you. Btw, thank you for the favorite!
