I try so hard
Just to please you
If only you knew
The things I've been through
Searching for respect
I've lost my voice
It feels like I
Don't have a choice
Why is it so hard
To stand up tall
When the world looks
And can't see me at all
I am a person
With my very own light
If you looked at all
You'd see it shines bright
Give me a chance
To show you my worth
To earn my place
On this human earth
And when you give
A little respect
You realize that I
Only reflect
The things I was taught
And Learned from you
I'm an empty book
Unused and new
You say I am nothing
Insignificant and weak
In your judge of character
What is it you seek?
I may be a child
But my life is a tree
It grows to the sky
Invincible and free
Love is my sun
That makes me grow strong
Like your esteem
That makes me belong
My soul is endless
Not empty inside
I'm still a person
With nothing to hide
I ask for respect
And a little of love
Two simple things
Yet a gift from above

And yes, i do drwing as well.But i'm a little "perfectionst" and try to show the best of me all the time, and i think what i draw it's not that good to be showen up to the world. But thank you.I will look forword to see some great drawings from you, and mabey wby not improveing myself.

If you wanna try drawing, I have some tips on how you can get good results...
Many people see drawing as something they could never manage. So they never even start and their talent canΒ΄t grow.
If you are interested let meknow and I can send you a note with tips for easy access and confidence training.

I'd pick her up and play by throwing her in midair. Then, I'd pinch her cheeks and caress her nose with mine, until that sad face becomes a smile.

That's really unique! and i hope some other artists can see this and realize there are more than one aspects of art that all work together for a common purpose, to inspire.

I am doing a drawing of a girl right now. She needs a little loving support cause she finds it hard to believe in herself, let alone even love herself for the way he is.
On the one hand sheΒ΄s got low self esteem and selfrespect. On the other hand she is under a lot of pressure from all sides - parents, family, Β΄friendsΒ΄, school. Expectations are high and she feels that as a heavy load on her shoulders, bringing her down instead of...

Yup finally done with school. And test went pretty well. I'm gonna get to be in all honors still, whew thank goodness. So happy, I can now draw to my hearts content!

I know what you mean about the pencil lines sticking on paper....sometimes I think
it's the paper(smooth works better though) and it could be the brand name pencil...
it's a lot of experimenting for me as I draw each portrait in graphite. Gets to be a
guessing game at times for me...

her eyes are beautiful!
