Thank you so much!! And I completely agree, Ra really needs a better gift face! XD (And no cheating Ra, turning into your scarab headed form doesn't count  )
And it actually bugs me a bit if someone gives him the wrong Wadjet XD After all, it's quite easy to remember, the right eye is the eye of Ra because Ra is always right
I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who checks his eyes are the right way round

PS, I like your username! If the great Nightmare Moon admits she likes a picture of a solar deity then I must have done something right XD

Same. xD It's like the left one is for Thoth! Right and Left, Sun and Moon, Bird Bros forever! That's a good way to remember it, lol! I can see Ra explaining it that way to the young godlings of the pantheon. xD

Exactly! Oh gosh Ra has no chance with three cat daughters! xD "I'm sorry daddy, I didn't mean to smite all the mortals. They said mean things about you and it made me mad." *cue Sekhmet's cute lioness face*  

Horus the Elder confuses me to no end, lol! Where did he come from? Where did he go? I was researching more of the original myths for my stories and only one website spoke of Horus the Elder and I was like Who are you??  It is sad that he's forgotten so much though...admittedly by myself included.  

Omg they would be!! Little chubby toddler Horus just wobbling around.  Imagine Ra trying to get a gaggle of godlings to focus. "Now remember children, Wadjet on the right because Ra is always right." Set is snickering somewhere in the background.

Lol no worries, I'm just glad my name still makes sense lol! xD Ra deserves majestic hair. <3 Maybe it's because he's on the Solar Barque so much but I can totally see him as a guy who likes to let his mane flow freely.

Yeah, Ra doesn't stand a chance, they'd just look at him with those big sparkly eyes and he'd melt XD

And the two Horus thing can get confusing  (especially since they're both very similar (and both have epic battles against Set! ))
I'm pretty sure it was Horus the elder who started the whole "Eye of Horus" thing though, because he was a sky god they quite often said his right eye was the sun, his left the moon and the stars were his speckled feathers (that's why you sometimes see the sun eye also called the eye of Horus  )
Horus the younger shows up a lot more in the new kingdom stories though, so that's probably why Horus the elder didn't get much of a mention.

Aww, baby Horus would be so adorable!!! With his fluffy little falcon head!  
And you can snicker Set, you were probably a terror of a toddler . . .  when you weren't sitting quietly making sandcastles that is

That's really neat, I never knew that about Horus the Elder! I know the stars being the markings on his feathers is beautifully majestic but...it also sounds really, really cute.

So we have Ra, two Horuses, Montu, Sokar and Amun all smooshed together sometimes. Thank you, rival priests, for being so finicky. xD I read at one point that Anubis was the son of Ra in the earlier dynasties. That would make for some interesting changes to the usual family drama!

Yes omg!! Chubby little waddling walk, molting little fluffy baby feathers everywhere! Oh gosh, Set would be the definition of terrible twos! xD I bet Osiris tried to make sand castles too...and Set always knocked them down.

Lol! Ra and Thoth are on a barque, Thoth trying to record details of their voyage, minding his own business when suddenly Ra just has to swoosh his majestic mane, hitting the poor ibis right in the face in glorious slow mo! xD
