Merril Portman from cpcoulter's Dalton in disney style.

For those unaware Merril is a male to female trans (pre-op, taking hormones) who has not appeared in the story as of Chapter 23. She has appeared in sidestories on Cp's tumblr and is currently in my top 5 favourite characters slot for Dalton.

What I love about Merril is her realist, but dainty and refreshingly feminine outlook which is different from so many girls out there which think they have to be masculine to get anywhere in life. Merril however embraces here femininity but does not let it define her.

Also a great thing about drawing Merril is she does look like a woman. I was hesitant at how she would look when I first learned about her, thinking something along the lines of a drag queen before Cp said she was 'shapely', 'tall' and many people were confused how she could go to an all boys school with how she looked. After a bit fo research I learned how much hormones can actually alter a person. It amazed me and also helped a lot with drawing because I didn't have to make Merril andryogenous but very femine with non-alterable male characteristics (aka longer pointer finger and an adams apple(?notsure about AA)).

Anyway this is Merril and she is lovely.
