I finally finished it. It took 7 months, a large RAM upgrade, and the patience of Job, but it is finally done.Final count, over 245 million polygons and over 200 objects.

I would say to take it into Photoshop and do an image resize. I have not revisted that file for many years now. Not even sure the original model is still on my hard drive
