Elaena's shade ended up assimilating itself with a Lifeseed. It then found her shell, freed of the infection, she found the missing piece of her soulmask, found a soul totem in a hidden room ... and healed.

She stayed there until she reached maturity, and was discovered by Lalia, who lured her out, and brought her back to where she and Drovus had been staying.
