Hey, there was this one thing I saw on a show...a race of aliens built a structure around their sun to absorb light from all sides. I think you should draw something like that, it seems that something like that would suit your style. The way it was in that show, they had connected large metal supports to several planets and made a web-like metal frame around a star over a very large distance.

Also, your style is very breath taking, you have a gift~

Very nice indeed. Picture presumeably taken during the 5 minutes of the year when it _isn't_ raining...

People are struggling to picture all that water being deposited. From a physical point of view it would work as a polar ice-scape, with every crack and rill widely filled with snow and ice.

Now that's an unique perspective. The detail is great even at that height vantage point. Great work using Vue.

Absolutely fantastic Only one thing I am not getting (probably painfully obvious) but what is the ring going around the island? A transport system perhaps? Just wondering, still amazing though

Very interesting geography. It actually reminds me of photos of volcanoes, with water instead of lava. I really like the ocean and the clouds.

Thank you! Yes, the ship is not easy to see. It's easier to see its shadow.

SnowLeopard217 [2012-03-19 09:38:45 +0000 UTC]

cool, where does the flow of water come from? I assumed it would be pumped from the sea, but that would kill all of the trees :/

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ArthurBlue In reply to SnowLeopard217 [2012-03-19 21:16:56 +0000 UTC]

Thanks.
It's not pumped from the sea, it's just normal rivers. If you saw only one river here you wouldn't find strange, would you? After all, islands do have rivers, it's a normal thing. So, why not a lot more than one?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SnowLeopard217 In reply to ArthurBlue [2012-03-20 02:29:29 +0000 UTC]

because it would all drain away in minutes, there has to be a source of water that can sustain 1000+? rivers
