Yep. One of the worst, if not THE worst fandom out there. None other than the Sonic fandom. There are so many reasons as to why the Sonic fandom is garbage.

Recolours

A lot of fans recolour Sonic characters and claim they're original characters. They're clearly recolours, so they're unoriginal.

"SAWNIK SHOOD LOOK MOAR LIKE A REAL HEDGEHOG, HAV BLACK EYES, AND DE WAGGIN FINGUH!"

Some Sonic fans stand up to a certain Sonic fanboy who shan't be named, who always complain about this. They complain that Sonic's been redesigned in Sonic Adventure. Redesigning a character will not affect their personalities in any way. As long as they still have that character.

"Sonic seems to be the only IP Sega owns!"

There is more to Sega than just Sonic. What about Vectorman? Ristar? Alex Kidd (One who came before Sonic)? They deserve attention too.

"Some Sonic characters don't look like the animals they're supposed to be!"

This is one of the least controversial conversations. People saying "Knuckles looks nothing like an echidna", "Rouge looks nothing like a bat" (at least she has wings and large ears!), "Sticks looks nothing like a badger".

I will counter these complaints with this; The designers don't always design the characters exactly like the animals they're supposed to be. Other franchises have characters who look nothing like the animals they're supposed to be.

SonicxAmy is best ship ever!

A similar problem to the Pokémon fandom, and Amourshipping. Many SonicxAmy shippers support the pairing like it's the best thing in the world, and many start shipping wars with those who ship Sonic with either Sally Acorn, Blaze the Pokémon, etc.

And here's the complaint that takes the cake, the most recent;

"SAWNIK'S DISIGN IN DA SAWNIK MOOVEE LOOKS HORRABULL!!!"

Yep, people are complaining about Sonic's design in his upcoming movie, saying he looks nothing like his game counterpart. Not all movies are going to have characters look exactly like their game counterparts. And get this! Many fans were sending death threats to Paramount, the producers of the movie, that Sonic looks awful! Thanks to these perfectionists, the movie had to be pushed back!

So yeah. These are some reasons the Sonic fandom is bad. If you can think of more reasons as to why the Sonic fandom is terrible, let me know.
