At first I was a bit depressed because you are suddenly SO MUCH more ahead of me when you have a tablet for only a few days so far, but now I'm motivated to do my best, too! >__<

You know, evry time you try something new and it looks awesome I'm all "FUCK WHEN DID HE GET SO MUCH BETTER" and wonder why I can't be suddenly so much etter as well but a bit later I try it out as well and am glad that you did it, otherwise I probably wouldn't have done so xD

uwu Pfff ~ see, what happens is I just APPEAR to get a lot better at something, because I experiment with a new style, every once in a while. 
... I'm not any better than I was before. :,DD I'm still the exact same artist, I'm just trying something new. Something that I wanted to try to figure out because it held my captivation for the longest time.
... But, I just don't have the patience for that, in all honesty. |DD Coloring, shading, blending... No matter how much I experiment with doing those things, it never comes out exactly the way I want it to look. :,DD You've only improved with your art if you are satisfied with the work you've done... If you are never satisfied with your own work, you have failed to improve. |DD
... It's because of this over-critical way of thinking that I don't have the patience to finish most things... |DD It's why I always want to move on to doing newer things, because I want to stop beating myself up for what I HAVE done and just work on doing something that I can actually be happy with. |DD The reason that there aren't many colored pictures in my gallery? :,DD Because I'm too self-critical and end up dissatisfied with my work... The only time I ever finish something is when I am truly satisfied with how things are going, until the end.
... But, somehow, you have the magical ability to get around self-criticism and just do things, however the heck you managed to obtain that stubbornness. :,DD Heh, it's because of that determination of yours that I even bother TRYING to do new things, in the first place... Because that's something I've always admired about you... And it's more often than not the thing that inspires MY determination to do something. ;M; It's because of you that I even bother trying to fight myself and my self-criticism. |DD
... If it weren't for you being as stubborn about things as you are, I'd just be moping around in a corner and wallowing in self-pity, feeling incapable of doing or being worthy of anything. |DD

But trying new styles out is a part of improving as well because you can't make huge steps by always trying the same thing out! So of course you're making huge improvement ^^
But it's not always important that it looks 100% the way you imagined it. I mean, look at your very first sketches. I doubt that this was where you wanted to go at first
And if there's someone who is absolutely self-critical then that's me! "I got an A? Could have been an A+ as well!" Never satisfied with anything e_e" And still I just finish what I do and see where that gets me. So don't use that excuse now

I got this from her xD) BUt I'm glad that it motivates you! So I have to keep being stubborn as hell so you become more determined to finish your things, too and then you can make lots of pretty stuff! ovo Which thus makes you try new things out which inspires me to try new things as well~ And thus we push each other up all the time

Still, on your first attempt at digital painting, you do this. I've been using a tablet for all of my pictures (coloring included) for two years and haven't even conceived doing anything this good. D=
