Much like Sakura, i really wish alot of other characters made it into the new Marvel vs Capcom game..... and really wish some characters were taken out of the game *cough* bionic commando! *continues coughing* MODOK!My X-23 phase is still alive and kickin!
Still trying to figure out if i prefer her claws to be squared off like i've drawn here or the standard curved to point look...

It does make a little sence when you remember that Wolverine and Ryu fought on the intro in Marvel vs Capcom 3.

Both X-23 and Sakura are martial artists who want to do some soul-searching. X-23 did go on the journey of self-discovery for being more than a living weapon and Sakura keep finding answers during practice before the match with Ryu.

Sakura better be in next Marvel vs Capcom instalment. Like Super Marvel vs Capcom 3 or like you said, Marvel vs Capcom 4.
And Cammy too. She and Laura could also heve some special conversations, since their origins are pretty stimilar. Cammy could also called her Laura. Your previous ideas for special conversations were(and still are) good, how do you think Cammy and Lauras would be like?

Glad your not one of ''those'' people, who think X-23 was a waste of character slot. She's one of my favorite characters in the entire Marvel universe. So when I heared she was gonna be in Mvc3, whoo boy...I nearly had a heart attack from the happiness.

I don't think there's gonna be a next one.
Capcom might just bail from fighting games after the Street Fighter X Tekken fiasco.
And even if they did... They're probably gonna add more random Capcom characters from various games than Street Fighters. And if they add more Street Fighters... I guess they have more obvious choices than her since this is pretty much a "made for Americans" game. (So I expect more muscular dudes and sexy babes with boobs over cute girls.)

Sakura is really cute! Can she really win? And against which characters? I haven't much of a clue. Just love the the spunky schoolgirl look that sort of understates the character for a change!
Love X-23 too. I really like her ferocity here, and her moves as well, but my sympathy is going out to the other girl this time! Some red sports globes and garden variety (pretty old school in fact) tennis shoes vs. adamantium blades and a healing factor? Doesn't seem quite fair--does it?
Of course, Sakura wouldn't be a normal girl either--she can probably wreck cars if having her game powers in the real world?
The Capcom idea doesn't make much sense as comic book superheroes are largely above and beyond how they appear in the games. I mean, some of these guys ought to be able to level city blocks; so really, this isn't that extraordinary. Even in the comic books characters are really as strong as, or as fast as,--the story plot! Sort this can be thought of a "What If" the comic book characters were at the same level as the Capcom, or any other similar matchups.

Anyway, shorter version is that the comics characters fighting the game ones would seem to be out of balance! But that even in the comics world, characters are just as strong, fast, powerful as the plot dictates. So, why not?
Adamantium blades vs. red sports gloves and old-school, plain tennis shoes? C'mon--you ought to be ashamed! Or at least majorly confident in Sakura! I do like both characters though--love X-23's cold ferocity and Sakura's "heat"!
And, I suppose that Sakura would hardly be a normal girl! More faster and agile than what ought to be humanly possible, hitting maybe hard enough to wreck cars?

Yeah you really shouldn't take out a character in a fighting game sequel, especially one like this. You practice for hours on end to master the character only for it to be cut from the next game

another character I agree with you on hating is Spencer (bionic commando), seriously, he is one of the most broken characters with a lot of unblockable grab moves, and serveral knockout hits, and UMVC only made him worse(along with Wesker, and Viper).
