I made my version of this (but it is not even close to this, I did not even try hard XD )

yea, lots of every day people that, laid down their lives for their causes. I mean, you seldom hear about the, "enemy" and their heroic actions. All in all, in every war, there are people of courage and honor.

because you are not supposed to hear about the enemies 'heroic actions'. in a ww2 case there was many heroes. but i would say now terrorists have stooped so low there are no 'heroes' on their side. maybe not in our eyes. I don't think suicide bombing is heroic. It's an act of desperation. But on the other hand, the way america drops UAV guided missiles from 100 of miles away isn't very heroic either. I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder

well, personally, being American, I think alot of American troops are being put in harms way, for a needless stupid war. While the rest of the world stood with us, when 9/11 happened. I think its time, we bring home the troops. They have been fighting "over there" since before the times of Christ... 10 years is not going to stop, a several thousand years of a way of life. Also, personally, I would love to go and pick off a few of the so called, "men of God" my self. I hate it, but understand when innocent people get killed in traditional combat, it happens. But when civilians are your target, that makes you a terrorist! The root word in that is Terror. Really, I am so glad, there is an Afghan, and Iraqi Army's now. So you can pretty much, say, the terrorists are not army personal! Sadly, ever now and again, some filter in to the ranks, with evil in their hearts, and pollute the actual service men of the countries. In turn, that pretty much make the ones fighting for their countries better futures, look so bad. Again, a few ruin it for the rest of them! Isn't that a repeated theme!

This is a very well-done picture. I'm impressed by the amount of detail that you were able to put in using only pencil/charcoal/graphite (I can't really tell what exactly it is

While I do not deny that the soldiers that died during the wars deserve a great amount of respect and sympathy, I'm not really sure what you mean by "choice" and "that day".

i meant to show the choice to stand and fight against fascism on the day they signed up for the army. tis all my artistic point of view
