am working on a music theme at the mo ( doing a music degree and it's bleeding into the art side of life now as well lol.. just done jackie du pre for elgars cockaigne, will post pretty soon..

Glad you like this piece, Every year i go to the North Sea Jazz festival and every year i get inspired by this great jazz/blues players. So last year i took my camera and made some jazz pictures and from this came the jazz painting. jackie du pre isn't she a cellist? Hope to see the your painting soon. so what for music instrument are you playing?

piano.. though its getting a hammering at the mo as im helping a theatre co out. with pirates of penzance...which is just mad!
thats not really what my course is about tho.. thats a music degree, so all sorts of music
I've only got a bit more to do to the jdp one so won't be too long, a few days i reckon as ive got a busy one tomorr and monday

It is a wonderful painting, but I don't like the yellow vibration going around his body. I am not trying to be picky, but for me it looks like he is a cut-out from another painting and you paste it on a new background. But your painting of him is marvelously done.

You're welcome, and hey, if you are satisfied about the yellow vibrations going around him, that's cool too. Because after all, you have to be happy about your work first. The fact still remains that you are very good with painting people!
