actually this is not a real greek siren. The real siren has a body like a normal bird and just the face or the head of a human. But this doesn't chance the fact that I love you sketch, especially her expression

Original sirens were birdlike, not fishy. There was a mixup that altered the myth. Which seems quite common with folklore.

FYI: A harpy is different from a siren. According to the greek mythology sirens were bird-alike creatures that lived in caves on islands and hyptonized sailors with their songs. Later on the roman mythology started to introduce a more mermaid like creature with similar features. I like the greek perspective of sirens.

Correct. Harpies were also considered more of jealous creatures, and refered to as "snatchers" not "ropers" like the sirens were. Harpies were also more hideous to a degree, while sirens were beautiful avian humanoid creatures.

Actually in original Greek mythology sirens are bird like creatures dubbed "the winged maidens of Hera". Mermaids were told to sing enchanting songs as well which is were the mix up began
