I wish I had half the mental fortitude Lucas has. If I were twelve and had to put up with all the hardships and pressure that kid was under, I probably would have either became a vegetable or committed suicide instead of saving the world. Man, I love Lucas.Mother 3 is definitely one of my all time favorites.

Oh, definitely. Mother 3 was a magnificent sequel.
I'd never played a game before that made me feel
so happy while simultaneously making me feel like
someone was punching me in the gut repeatedly.
Although, it's tough since the only way to play it
in English is to get an emulator and download
the Fan Translation (which was very well done imo)
If downloading on emulators doesn't bug you or
you can read Japanese, I highly recommend playing it.
I think any game powerful enough to make the player
feel such strong emotions is a masterpiece.
I'm just ecstatic to own a legitimate copy of the game, even if I can't understand it...
Just having it in my possession makes me happy.

An emulator was how I played Earthbound, I wasn't lucky enough to own an actual copy
