Description I was looking around for something else to do for Eddy's Red challenge, and when stumbled across these lines I just thought they'd be perfect. Turned out to be a bit more fiddly that I expected, but it came through eventually.

Love the light effects you've given his gloves and the top. Makes it really pop out. Also the texture you've given the costume is fantastic. Bravo sir!

Thanks chief. Aye, those bright rims really helped bring the pic together - I was really stuck until I did that.

Thanks! But Daredevil doesn't really have eyes in his costume, just eye-shaped bits of leather (or whatever his outfit's made of) - he's blind, remember. ^_^

Nice! I couldnt find a daredevil I liked (I didnt find these)

Like the sharp highlights and the subtle shading on the red, gives his costume a nice leathery feel rather then a shiny spandex look.

The leather took me ages - tried a bunch of overlays that never looked right before finally giving in & making a whole run of different brushes til I got one that (kinda) worked. It was those sharp highs that finally cracked the pic tho - I had the rims in but a lot duller, and the image just wasn't working for me. Tried adjusting a few things, and as soon as I brightened the rims the whole thing seemed to come together. I swear, I spent twice as long tweaking stuff on this than I did doing the actual toning! ^_^
