Just a little something I did since I haven't been active lately. I tried some new stuff with the oceans and coasts, making them look more realistic. I got so caught up doing that, I forgot to put the cities on the planet XD
And the star field was made by hand.

The story behind this planet isn't all that interesting. It's an Earth-like planet, many of the animal species on it are actually imported from Earth (with the exception of marine life and insects, which had already evolved along with the plants by the time of colonization). It's a warm, tropical world but it's not particularly hot, and the humidity is tolerable at worst. It's famous for it's beautiful green seas and pristine beaches. People (not all particularly human) come from all over the quadrant to sail in the calm winter waters and surf (or equivalent) in the summer. It has large forests and jungles that are great for hiking and camping (there are few dangerous species on the planet), and the mountains are some of the most challenging to climb anywhere.

EDIT: And they serve some of the funkiest jambalaya that you'll ever eat. Just don't ask what the sausage is made out of; it might taste like pork, but it's actually from something smaller with more legs.
