If you remember the show you are awesome & so was your childhood. So here is a few pieces in my series for the show. Growing up Blackstar was one of my favorite Saturday morning Cartoons this precursor to He-man saved the Sagar Tree and the Trobbits every weekend. With his faithful steed Warlock a winged dragon, not to mention his friends, Princess Mara sorceress supreme and his shapeshifting elf lord Klone. they protected the planet from every monster the planet had to throw at them. Plus Native American astronaut turns He-man with out magic his only weapon a Sword with a force field effect. Yeah he rocked. Most of the the artists who worked on this series also worked him into he-man later as most of the artists from Blackstar ended up working on he-man. I always thought Sagar was Eternias name at an earlier time. Because he was worked into so many archeology pics of heman. As well as a red version of Warlock the dragon and the lavalock monsters
