MASK (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand). If you never heard of them they are a highly trained international special mission team that wage war against their polar opposites VENOM (the Vicious Evil Network of Mayhem), an international terrorist group dedicated to wealth and power by force. Both teams use illusion as their ultimate weapons in their goals and each team possess ordinary vehicles that can become high tech war machines.

This is the MASK Coast Patrol which was part of the Adventure Packs series that never made it into the cartoon but was featured in some issues of the great UK Comic series.

Matt Trakker, code name The Hunter is the leader of MASK. Trakker uses the Coast Patrol rapid deployment unit to protect the shores from VENOM and other threats. The lightly armored raft carries two Hyper Photon Torpedoes than can track enemies anywhere they go in the water. The high speed outboard motor can pivot up to reveal a hidden laser cannon and the anchor doubles as a throwing weapon and grappling hook.

Trakker wears Dolphin mask, which emits ultra Sonics on various wave lengths that can disorient an opponent, deafen them or shatter glass of any thickness. Dolphin mask makes an air tight seal around its wearer and can be used as a fully functional diving helmet with its own air supply. The mask also contains special filters that can extract breathable oxygen from water when submerged to replenish its wearer’s air supply.

I was mostly concerned with showing off Matt Trakker in his Coast Patrol uniform and mask than showing the raft itself in action so I decided to make it a night landing on a lonely coastline at night to show off the stealth of the small craft. I didn’t want to go with another full moon picture so I put in a light house as the light source besides the clear starry night.
