I did not make the tail (mertailor did) but I did design the colors/patterns on it. I also made the rest of the mermaid props... with lots of hot glue.Thanks to my friend Meg for taking the photos!

I like the tail. I watch mermaid webseries on youtube and haven't seen a tail designed like that before. Just wondering if the tail gets heavy to wear.

Thanks, I had a lot of fun coming up with the colors and pattern for it (even though I didn't physically make the thing itself). It can get heavy, it weighs 55 pounds, and sinks in the water!

Yikes, that's a lot of weight to carry around your legs! Can you swim in this tail? (like, is it waterproof, and would you be able to swim with it considering the weight?)

Oh yeah! It was made for swimming! It's so fun to swim with, it's just a pain in the arse to get into it!

BWAH HA HA HA - this actually cracks me up. I'm really a sort of androgynous woman... if you look at some of the other pics you can see my chest, but I also have a sharp nose/jaw, really short hair, and I lift weights bro... I always wondered it people could mistake me for a guy! Now I know
