I captured some poses of me holding a porcelain cup from the dining room, and wanted to do something better than just the boring basic holding handle" pose. I put sort of a dainty loose vibe, to really portray and looser and organic feel.

It's really something to actually know that I took part myself into planning a study. I strongly encourage you all to do this rather than using stock images. Of course we don't own spears or old cars to use as prop reference, but there is a lot of things we take for granted that could easily be used as props. Take some pictures with it, slightly different poses. You can even mix up the lighting and even foreshortening! I'm definitely doing more, and as well as learning from studying and building my image bank. I hope you find this useful

I haven't had fun from drawing in a long time. This really brought me back . Forcing myself to do portraits because I thought I had to really was damaging and somewhat wasted time. I want to just focus on learning and teach others what I learn.
