More I just wasn't using DeviantArt for like month. I semi replaced it with a hard drive due to some technical issues with my art computer that I should just fix and stop being lazy.

oh hell yeah i've been a vampire fan since i was a wee tyke! one of my main OCs is a vampire (Jael if you remember him). i've made up a whole bunch of lore for him and my other vampire OCs xD

Of course I remember Jael  lol. Do you follow main vampire lores or you make up some components of it? We kinda do the latter since our story is in our own universe. They're not too far off from the normal vamp lores though.

i've got my own lore, but it's definitely inspired by Dracula and the like. cursed undead fanged creatures who drink blood to survive and all that. though my vampires don't combust in sunlight xD (blame hollywood for that one anyway bc book!dracula isn't bothered by sunlight either).

i feel like it's more fun to make up your own lore too!

haha yeah we got rid of the sunlight thing too, it just really makes them irritable and sometimes weak if they are not well fed with blood. I agree, it's more fun to make up our own lore
