This one reminds me of my favorite old comic strip, Krazy Kat! It has this surrealist background detail/structure kind of like the windows here, and lots of comical recurring background characters like Tip. Plus, the comic strip's based around a love triangle, so lots of serenades with mandolins.
Definitely my favorite bookmark so far. Great use of color, too.

Thank you! I keep meaning to get into Krazy Kat. One of these days I'll procure one of the anthologies and get down to business. But as Little Nemo has taught me, classic comic anthologies are dashed expensive!

I never noticed how "rorschachy" robots can be, as these made me feel kinda sad, but probably make others feel different. I really liked the lines and colors and textures of the beet juice one. Makes me want a color printer to use these, only not sure how they work with my kindle...

It's the same flower pot. He just hasn't taken it down since the last bookmark for some reason. Maybe his brothers glued it there or something.
