I never could quite catch Caleb's Eyes in the comic, sometimes they were Bluish others greenish, But I like to think that they are emerald green like in the anime.

No, actually Dante can change all of his appearance including his Eyes,
but to maintain his disguise he needs to absorb vital energy from whom he wants to look like every so often. If he doesn't do this he will eventually turn back to his original appearance, and the first thing that turns back are his eyes.
In this situation He is nearly out of Caleb's vital energy and is almost turning back, that is why his eyes are brown.
Oh yes I remember that episode 
I can say that Corny and Caleb's reunion will take place really soon
... Let's see how Caleb's situation will hit Cornelia ... It might not be pretty ... And adding Peter (and even a confused Elyon) to the mix... huuum... I sense something is going to explode here...
